I am a speaker, coach, wife, mother, writer, and advocate for the voice of young people.
In 2017, I founded Lydia’s Place to support young adults experiencing foster care or homelessness through housing, meeting basic needs and mentorship. Named after April’s grandmother, Lydia’s Place represents hope, resilience, and God’s unconditional love.
I am living my dream! At the age of 14, I walked up to my mentor in speaking and said “someday, I want to teach people just like you.”
Today, I get to travel to different companies, teams, and churches to share content that has real impact.
When I am not coaching or speaking, I spend time with the non-profit I founded called, Lydia’s Place, where we serve young adults who have experienced foster care or homelessness.
My husband, Kip and I have 4 treasured girls, Lauren, Lydia,
Anne Marie and Maria. We live on a mini-farm in Statham, Georgia.
I love the opportunity to empower my girls, the students we serve at Lydia’s Place, executives and those serving in ministry. I believe my purpose is found in helping other people realize their potential.
